Meet Kaitlyn Culver

Kaitlyn has spent 6 years in the beauty industry, although hair wasn’t originally where she expected to end up. She entered the industry with an interest in special effects makeup, then discovered a love for hair along the way and found the direction she wanted to pursue.

Today, her work centers heavily around blonding and extensions. Kaitlyn especially enjoys lived-in color, balayage, highlights, dimensional color, and creating blondes that still have depth and movement. She also offers gray coverage and longer haircuts, with her cutting services focused on hair at or below the chin rather than short cuts or men’s cuts.

Extensions are another major part of her work. Kaitlyn offers invisible bead genius weft extensions and particularly enjoys working with clients who have finer or thinner hair and want additional fullness or length. She also has a strong interest in scalp health and continuing to learn more about how the condition of the scalp and hair can affect the services she performs.

Kaitlyn describes herself as bubbly, energetic, and a little chaotic in the best way. She enjoys getting to know the people in her chair, hearing what is happening in their lives, and creating an environment where clients feel comfortable enough to be completely themselves. She wants her chair to feel safe, judgment-free, and personal rather than like a strictly transactional appointment.

That same openness carries into the way she approaches her work. Kaitlyn believes taking care of her clients means listening, continuing to learn, and being willing to take responsibility when something needs to be adjusted. Her goal is for clients to leave feeling confident, cared for, and happy with both their hair and the experience they had getting there.

Outside of the salon, Kaitlyn also bartends at a Mexican restaurant. She has two black cats, loves traveling, taking hair classes, spending time with friends, and spending time with her fiancé.
